01
Sensitive and brand-unsafe contexts are restricted
OpenAI's advertising policies describe conversation contexts where ads should not appear, including sensitive, high-stakes or emotionally vulnerable situations and other brand-unsafe environments. Advertisers should not treat a context hint as a way to bypass those placement rules.
02
Advertiser and creative eligibility still matter
A technically valid campaign can still fail review because the advertiser category, claim, landing page or creative conflicts with platform policy. Keep policy review inside the launch checklist rather than discovering it after spend is planned.
03
Policies change
OpenAI's ad-policy changelog has already evolved during 2026. Magnify's update architecture therefore treats policy changes as operating inputs that can affect eligibility, context strategy and which verticals should be targeted.
04
Magnify operating rule
Never convert a permitted category into an unsupported targeting claim. Policy eligibility, campaign relevance and measurement are separate evidence layers and should remain separate in recommendations.
