How a multi-country store cleaned up feed segmentation
A beauty brand expanded internationally by duplicating its US feed. Germany and France inherited English titles, mismatched categories, and US-centric product data that suppressed performance. The brand had scaled internationally by duplicating its US feed into other country targets and mostly changing currency. Titles, category mappings, and market language remained US-centric even when customer search behavior was not. Magnify compared localization, taxonomy, identifier match rate, and feed-level ROAS across all five country targets. Germany and France combined English-only product titles with incorrect category mapping, creating a relevance problem at both the algorithm and shopper level. DE and FR together added roughly $34,000/month in incremental revenue at the same spend level after feed segmentation and localization were corrected. All accounts are anonymized. Brand names, exact spend figures, and identifying details have been changed or generalized to protect confidentiality. The figures below are illustrative composites built from the structure and magnitude of real Magnify engagements and typical patterns surfaced by Magnify audits.
